ARDF World Championships 2012 SERBIA

Accommodation contract signed

Mr. Sinisa Radulovic, Chairman of the E.C. ARDF 2012, and Mr. Nikola Avram, CEO of "MK Mountain Resort", have signed a contract for the accommodation of the 2012 World Championships participants in Kopaonik.

Accommodation in 4 star hotels and high quality related services have been agreed.

IARU R1 Championships in Romania

Representatives of the EC ARDF 2012 participated in the ARDF R1 Championships in Romania.

During the working group and team leader meetings and in numerous meetings with competitors as well, we received many suggestions and wishes to which we will give serious consideration.

For example: Foxoring and the Competition for the Blind are already included in the Championships schedule.

The ARDF Working Group of IARU Region 1adopted a report on the preparations for the World Championships in 2012.

Special call signs

 

On the occasion of the 16th World Amateur Radio Direction Finding (ARDF) Championship, which is to be held in the Republic of Serbia in 2012, the Serbian Administration authorizes a number of Serbian amateur stations to use the special call signs  YT16ARDF,  YU16ARDF,  YT16IARU,  YU16IARU from 1 September 2011 to 20 September 2012.
